Qantas Airlines has continued its strong start to 2018 by again being rated Australia’s most satisfying domestic airline.

The national carrier scored a customer satisfaction rating of 84 per cent just ahead of key rival Virgin Australia on 83 per cent with regional airline REX on 77 per cent edging out Qantaslink on 76 per cent for third.

Qantas has also won a narrow victory for domestic business travellers with a customer satisfaction rating of 79.4 per cent less than one percentage point ahead of Virgin Australia on 78.8 per cent and well ahead of Jetstar on 58 per cent.

The two victories for Qantas build on a strong customer satisfaction rating early on in 2018 and put Qantas in with a good chance of taking out both Annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards for 2018.

Qantas won the Annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards for both the Domestic Airline and Domestic Business Airline of the year for the fourth straight year in 2017.
