Travel advisor famil explores Oʻahu and Kauaʻi with Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania & Hawaiian Airlines
Eight travel advisors from Australia and New Zealand recently embarked on an unforgettable week-long famil across Oʻahu and Kauaʻi, hosted by Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania and Hawaiian Airlines.
The trip showcased the Hawaiian Islands’ unique natural beauty, rich culture, and premium accommodations.
The journey began on Oʻahu, with advisors enjoying three nights at Sheraton Waikīkī Beach Resort, where views of Waikīkī Beach and Lēʻahi (Diamond Head) set the scene. Hawaiian Airlines’ renowned in-flight service, featuring complimentary Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, provided a seamless start to the adventure.
Oʻahu highlights included a sunset cruise aboard The Vida Mia, a tour and tasting at Kō Hana Distillers, a visit to Pearl Harbor, and an immersive North Shore Eco Tour featuring ATV riding, followed by lunch in Haleʻiwa town. The group also explored the newly refurbished Courtyard by Marriott Oʻahu North Shore and concluded their stay with a dinner and cultural performance at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
A short Hawaiian Airlines flight brought the group to Kauaʻi, where they stayed three nights at Outrigger Kauaʻi Beach Resort & Spa, surrounded by the island’s lush landscapes. Kauaʻi highlights included exploring Waimea Canyon, visiting the Kauaʻi Museum, a farm-to-table dinner at Plantation House by Gaylord’s, a walking food tour in Hanapēpē, and a magical sunset tour of Allerton Garden.
Site inspections at the Royal Sonesta Kauaʻi Resort and Outrigger Kauaʻi Beach Resort & Spa further enhanced their understanding of the island’s offerings.
“This famil was an incredible opportunity to showcase the Hawaiian Islands’ diversity,” Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania, PR & trade account manager Anna Riedel said
“From breathtaking landscapes to supporting local artisans through shopping for made-in-Hawai‘i products, advisors are now better prepared to create memorable and authentic itineraries for their clients.”
