Travellers Choice reps on roadtrip to ensure flexible membership solutions

Travellers Choice reps on roadtrip to ensure flexible membership solutions

Flexible membership solutions, along with its value-for-money support services, are continuing to drive network expansion for Travellers Choice.

Lauris White, owner of Nambucca World Travel in Nambucca Heads on the NSW Mid North Coast, says a desire for greater freedom and flexibility pushed her to investigate new consortia options.

“I was keen to avoid entertaining into a rigid, long-term contract, and the combination of flexibility and support that Travellers Choice offers independent agents is what initially drew me in,” White added.

“But as I began to learn more about the group, what really surprised me was the value for money it offers. As an Elevate member I receive all of the support services I’m used to, but at a cost that offers much better value.”

Fellow new recruit, Michelle Barker, owner of EMBARK travel, is no stranger to the Travellers Choice network, having been part of the group of almost 10 years as the owner of Jayes Travel, one of the most respected travel brands in Newcastle, NSW’s second largest city.

Barker recently rebranded Jayes Travel as EMBARK travel after pursuing a business restructure that involved swapping a street-front location for a serviced office, from where she now focuses on premium clients and group tours.

“As part of the process I took the opportunity to reconnect with Travellers Choice,” Barker added. “I always thought the group was phenomenal, its people, systems, transparency, and overrides are 10 times better than anywhere else. But it’s previous one-size-fits all membership model didn’t work for me.

“Now it offers a choice of membership models, including the Activate model, which is perfect for EMBARK travel as it allows me to pick and choose the support services I need, while enjoying all the other things I love about the group.”

Travellers Choice has also expanded its Western Australian network, with the addition of Grand Travel, which has operated from the Perth suburb of Northbridge back since its launch in 1988.

Founder Poh Tan says there are two key reasons she joined Travellers Choice: marketing support and communication.

“Previously I needed to engage a third-party provider to meet all of my digital marketing needs,” Tan added. “But the Travellers Choice team can now support all of my activities, including emailing marketing and loading deals on to my new Site Builder website.

“The other thing that attracted me was the fact that if I need anything, I know I can now pick up the phone and speak directly with a member of the senior management team, who knows me and my business. For me that is very important.”

Travellers Choice offers three membership solutions – Activate, Elevate and Accelerate – each incorporating different levels of business services and financial benefits in line with a member’s specific needs.
