TravelManagers expands Business Support team

TravelManagers expands Business Support team
Edited by Travel Weekly

TravelManagers has added two new Business Partnership Managers (BPMs), Jodie Beck and Linda McMullen, to its National Partnership Office (NPO) team.

Both Beck and McMullen bring several decades’ worth of travel industry experience to TravelManagers’ already highly accomplished team. The team provides strategic and highly customised business coaching to the personal travel manager (PTM) network. According to the company’s National Business Partnership manager, Julia McLean, they will draw on that expertise to connect, inspire, and support PTMs throughout NSW.

“Jodie and Linda will also play a pivotal role in growing the TravelManagers network, working with potential advisors and guiding them through the process of joining TravelManagers,” McLean said.

McMullen said she is looking forward to engaging with, inspiring, and supporting the PTMs in her area to grow their businesses from where they are now to where they would like to be.

“By assisting my PTMs to gain a full understanding of running their own business and ensuring they have the tools and support to reach their goals, I will provide them with the best opportunity for success,” McMullen said.

From their perspective, TravelManagers’ PTMs describe the support provided by their local BPMs as “invaluable”.

“My BPM is my go-to on anything and everything: crisis, good news or advice,” Gordon Park-based PTM, Lisa Smith, confirmed. “To know you have them in your corner when you need them is the benefit of being with TravelManagers compared to other independent agents who simply don’t receive this kind of support.”

Scotts Creek-based PTM, Tanya Campbell, concurred: “As a new PTM, my BPM has been invaluable. Her caring nature and extensive knowledge provide the guidance I need to build my business with confidence. She supports my growth without any pressure, allowing me to find my own path while knowing I have her backing every step of the way.”

TravelManagers executive general manager, Michael Gazal, identifies their BPM team as a key factor in the home-based brand’s recent success at the 2024 NTIA Awards.

“We were named Most Outstanding Mobile Travel Advisor Network for the third time since 2019; having the largest and most experienced business support team in Australia for mobile travel advisors has been a major factor in our ongoing success,” Gazal said.
