Edited by Travel Weekly

Riviera Travel River Cruises, the UK’s No. 1 river cruise operator, is hosting a series of exclusive lunch and learn events, with the latest being held in Sydney yesterday.

The event, at the Dove & Olive Hotel in Surry Hills, was offered for Australian travel advisors and their clients, introducing them to river cruising, the Riviera brand and what makes it a household name in the UK.

The afternoon, hosted by Steven Taylor, the new international sales manager for Riviera in Australia, featured a light lunch accompanied by prosecco.

Guests learnt about the experiences they could have on a Riviera river cruise, from exploring Europe’s most scenic rivers, culturally immersive excursions, convenience of travelling into the heart of Europe’s most stunning cities and towns to enjoying the exceptional service and comfort aboard their luxurious ships, all backed by a 40-year heritage.

The next event on tomorrow, 5 September, at Laurent Café, 306 Little Collins Street, Melbourne, from 2pm to 4pm. To attend, call TTW Business Development Manager Rachel Javier on 0414 601 744 or email rachelj@traveltheworld.com.au.

Guests get an additional $100 off per person in addition to the $750 off for 7-nights and $1,000 off for 10- to 14-night cruises plus the superior drinks package (valued at $650) to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary.
