Valentines day ‘trip’ to Canada, a new way to celebrate with your loved one

Valentines day ‘trip’ to Canada, a new way to celebrate with your loved one

If you’re looking for a new way to celebrate Valentines day this year, maybe an experience with your partner on magic mushrooms is the way to do it!

This unique opportunity is available through ‘The Journeymen Collective’ who are self described ‘contemporary shamans’ and say couples have been reaching a new level of their relationship by experiencing a life-changing psychedelic journey together.

The Journeymen Collective hosts partners invested in connecting deeply in life and love. By going through the self-discovery of a plant based medicine ceremony, couples are able to clear out the old energy that’s holding them back and have the ultimate reset.

With modern, lush accommodations, the guided psilocybin retreats take place at a luxury estate centre located in British Columbia, Canada, surrounded by stunning mountain views. Guests are assisted in an extraordinarily personalized experience for mind, body, and soul over 5 intensive days.

The Journeymen Collective

Founders Rob Grover and Gary Logan have a combined 50+ years of education in spiritual and metaphysical training, executive level mindset coaching, energetic healing modalities, Alexander Technique lessons, and provide support embodying and integrating the transformational retreat.

Visitors are immersed in a posh 7,000 square foot estate setting for 2 magic mushroom journeys accompanied by a side of gourmet dark chocolate, nature hiking, five star vegetarian cuisine, and saltwater pools.

Rob and Gary have also hosted CEOs, entrepreneurs, athletes, performers, and more, they believe in the power of psilocybin as a plant medicine that can clear away old energy and held trauma from our past. Their programs seek to remove blocks to mental clarity in our personal/professional lives, reset ourselves to bring back joy for life and gratitude, and bring a spiritual mindfulness into each day we are given. This includes preparation calls and integration calls with guests before and after the in person journey.

Modern medicine has seen the introduction of medicinal cannabis in many locations around the world, with some totally legalising the drug. Rules around the psychoactive mushrooms are not as relaxed, however there is a global push from medical professionals to use the drug for treatment of many mental health cases.

It is currently illegal to produce, sell and posses magic mushrooms in Canada, but is somewhat unregulated, with ‘mushroom spore kits’ being sold over the counter commonly. In 2022, six terminal cancer patients were treated with magic mushrooms as a way to help cope with end of life anxiety. Prior to this it was also possible to get a prescription for the drug, it was however hard to actually access.

Australia has recently made it possible for psilocybin (magic mushrooms) and MDMA to be used in the treatment of depression and PTSD, only administrable by an authorised psychiatrist.
