Curious travellers are invited to join Viking for a one-of-a-kind event, featuring a delicious lunch with exciting presentations and exclusive offers.

The Viking Explorer Lunch is an opportunity for prospective guests to learn more about Viking’s large range of river, ocean and expedition voyages. The elegant afternoon will take place at the QT Canberra and includes welcome drinks, and canapes followed by a sumptuous two-course lunch with a selection of beer, wine, and beverages.

  • Includes: Canapes, two-course lunch, petit fours, wine, beer, and beverages

Travel agents are encouraged to invite their clients to the premium lunch, as Viking experts will be on hand to answer any questions and talk more in-depth about specific itineraries. All bookings made on the day will be attributed to agents, allowing agents to earn commission and additional Rewards by Viking points.

There will also be exclusive offers available on the day for those prospective guests. Places are limited, so attendees are encouraged to secure their place by booking a ticket.  Tickets must be pre-purchased through Eventbrite.

Whether attendees are seasoned guests or new to Viking, the presentations will feature Viking’s popular itineraries and newest ships. Since 2020, Viking has welcomed 17 new ships to its fleet—including eight new award-winning Viking Longships on the rivers of Europe; new vessels on the Mekong, Nile and Mississippi rivers; four new, identical ocean ships; and two Polar Class expedition vessels.

  • River Cruising – From Europe, Southeast Asia, Egypt or the USA Viking’s elegant river ships will take you there in comfort. History and culture unfold as you discover fairytale castles, magnificent cities and impressive temples from the comfort of our award-winning ships.
  • Ocean Cruising – Explore Scandinavia and Northern Europe the Mediterranean, Asia, Australia and more. With just 930 guests and all veranda staterooms, Viking’s small ships have greater manoeuvrability allowing them to dock in smaller ports and allow guests to be closer to their destination.
  • Expedition Cruising – Uncover the untouched wilderness of Antarctica and North America’s Great Lakes. Marvels of technology, Viking expedition vessels merge comfort and exploration in an unprecedented way. Purpose-built to optimise exploring the remotest parts of the world in comfort.
