Australian-listed satellite communications firm Sky and Space Global is expected to announce what it calls a “strategic partnership” with Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic, according to Sky News.

“Trade in Sky and Space Global shares has been halted until Monday pending the announcement of the partnership with Virgin Galactic, the space tourism company still waiting on its much-delayed debut flight,” Sky News reported.

Virgin Galactic’s runway has seen little action since the accident that killed one pilot sparked speculation about the future of commercial space tourism, as well as Spaceport America.
