G Adventures has introduced eight new ‘Active’ trips, aimed at travellers who want to combine active travel and culture on their next getaway.
The new tours include multi-sport itineraries in Indonesia and Cuba, and fresh hiking options in the United States’ National Parks.
There is also a new way to hike Peru’s famous Inca Trail for one day, during the alternative Lares Trek hiking route.
Among the eight new tours are:
- Active Bali & Java
- Cuba Multisport: Bike, Kayak and Hike
- Hiking the Best of the West’s National Parks; and
- The Lares Trek with One-day Inca Trail.
Globus announces first-ever Travel Champions game show
For the first time, the Globus family of brands is holding a “game show to end all game shows” to determine Australia’s Travel Champion.
Taking place on Wednesday 13 November and hosted by TV presenter James Kerley in Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter, the show will reveal who has the most Globus and general travel knowledge.
To enter a team, simply answer the five-question quiz at globusgameshow.com.au for the chance to compete live on stage, win the prestige of being the most knowledgeable team in the industry, and win a ticket for two on a luxurious river cruise with Avalon Waterways.
And for entrants who don’t quite make it to the final stage, Globus is offering 200 VIP audience passes.
Contestants and VIP audience participants will be announced by 1 November.
Book in October and win a trip with Insight Vacations or Luxury Gold
Following on from a successful launch of its 2020 ‘Europe and Britain Collection’, Insight Vacations is excited to announce it is giving away a free trip every week in October.
