Destination experts, My Queensland, have hit an all-time high in sales for July 2024, shattering previous booking records by 30 per cent.

As Australians flock to sun-soaked holidays, My Queensland has seen an unprecedented 227 per cent increase in bookings compared to its usual monthly average, marking a new chapter in post-pandemic travel.

Leading the surge is the Whitsundays and the Gold Coast, where My Queensland’s exclusive new packages have captivated travellers looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation.

Key partnerships, including the one with Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef, have drawn families and couples to the Whitsundays, offering exceptional value with bonus inclusions like $300 wine and dine credits, discounted island activities, and “kids stay, play, and eat free” promotions.

Ryan Thomas, CEO of My Holiday, the parent company of My Queensland, said: “To exceed the booking levels we saw during the pandemic when domestic travel was at an all-time high, is truly a testament to the enduring appeal of Queensland as a leading holiday destination.”

“Our customers are looking for great value, and they know they can find it with My Queensland.

“Our holiday packages have been hand-crafted by our destination experts, providing great value but packed full of bonus inclusions they won’t find anywhere else.”

The success of July has fueled the launch of My Queensland’s Great Big Holiday Sale, featuring exclusive Queensland packages designed for those chasing sun, sand, and unforgettable escapes.
