Winter wonderland: agents abroad in Canada

Winter wonderland: agents abroad in Canada

Aussie travel agents landed in British Columbia, Canada, over the weekend, for seven days of winter wonderland bliss.

A total of 30 agents from Sydney and Brisbane are attending the inaugural Sno’N’Ski famil, and Travel Weekly is tagging along for the ride, so expect oodles of updates throughout the week.

After a long 13+ hours in the sky, plus an extra flight from Vancouver to Kelowna, agents finally arrived in Big White ski resort, one of the biggest and most family friendly ski in-ski out resorts in the country, not to mention North America.

Jetlagged but buzzing with excitement, agents regrouped for lunch after checking in to The Big White Inn, feasting on homecooked Irish stew courtesy of Blarney Stone’s Irish gastro hospitality.

Rentals in tow, it was an early night in (for some), before our first day of hitting the slopes on Saturday.

Agents were also treated to some tubing action, ice skating and famous steaks, before departing for SilverStar Resort, another of Canada’s top family resorts.

Check out some of the first famil photos below, and stay tuned for more updates this week.
