The Australian Travel Agents Co-Operative (ATAC) has officially launched its newly redesigned website as part of its celebrations marking 40 years of supporting independent travel professionals across Australia.

Now live at atac.travel, the new website represents an important step forward in how ATAC showcases its community, values, and the benefits of membership, while creating clearer pathways for travel professionals to discover and join the co-operative.

The refreshed platform introduces a modern design and enhanced user experience, reflecting the professionalism, collaboration, and strength that has defined ATAC for four decades.

“This new website reflects both where ATAC has come from and where we are going,” ATAC CEO Michelle Emerton said.

“As we celebrate 40 years of supporting independent travel agents, the platform allows us to better showcase the strength of our community while making it easier for new professionals to discover ATAC and become part of the co-operative.”

Highlights

Key features of the new website include:

  • A modern design that reflects the professionalism and strength of the ATAC community
  • Clearer information for prospective agents exploring membership opportunities
  • A fully digitalised member application process, simplifying how new agents join the co-operative
  • An AI-powered chatbot to guide visitors and answer common questions
  • Improved analytics and insights to help ATAC better understand and support its members
  • Faster performance and smoother browsing across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Enhanced search engine optimisation (SEO) to help more travel professionals discover ATAC online

The new website replaces the previous platform at https://www.travelagentsco-op.com.au, and members and partners are encouraged to update any saved links.

The website launch also marks the beginning of further digital developments for the co-operative.

ATAC is currently building a new intranet platform that will provide members and partners with a more streamlined and user-friendly experience, featuring improved navigation and easier access to key resources and information.

As ATAC celebrates four decades of collaboration and industry leadership, the organisation remains focused on strengthening its community and supporting the next generation of independent travel professionals.
