The National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) are arguably the biggest night in travel, and now you’ll want to be marking your diary because ATIA has released all the key dates and venues for this year’s awards and Beyond Borders Travel Summit.
The industry already has 17 and 18 October locked in for the much-anticipated events which will be held at The Star Brisbane with Beyond Borders to take place on Friday 17 October, and the NTIA Gala to follow on Saturday 18 October.
Now, the countdown begins with the NTIA timeline released:
Nominations Open: 30 April
Nominations Close: 21 May
Nomination notice emails issued: 10 June
Submission portal opens: 23 June
Submission portal closes: 13 July
Industry voting commences: 21 July
Industry voting concludes: 8 August
Finalists Announced: mid-August
Industry judging interviews: 01 – 19 September
Both events are designed to bring the industry together to connect, recognise excellence, and explore the future of travel. Beyond Borders will again deliver thought leadership and practical insight, while NTIA will celebrate the people and businesses setting the standard for service and success across the country.
ATIA CEO Dean Long said “we’re excited to officially open the countdown to Beyond Borders and NTIA 2025. These events are about more than recognition; they’re about inspiration, community and setting the agenda for the future of travel.”
“We’re Brisbane-bound for both must-attend events, and we know people are keen to lock in their travel. We look forward to welcoming everyone as we celebrate together.”
Since relaunching post-COVID the NTIA Awards have moved around the country to give everyone in the travel industry a chance to attend. After taking place in Melbourne in 2023, they moved to Sydney in 2024 and are taking place in Brisbane in 2025. The location of the 2026 event will be revealed after the 2025 conference.
