ATIA has announced the launch of Beyond Borders On The Road, an exciting new series designed to bring top-tier travel insights, industry discussion and member engagement to more parts of the country.
Following the resounding success of last year’s Beyond Borders Travel Summit, the first stops this year are in South Australia and Western Australia, with events confirmed for:
- Adelaide – 28 July, Crowne Plaza Adelaide (5pm for 6pm start)
- Perth – 30 July, Novotel Perth Langley (5pm for 6pm start)
These additions build on the momentum of NTIA celebrations in Melbourne (2023), Sydney (2024), and Brisbane (2025), extending ATIA’s flagship content to a broader national audience.
And it all leads into the biggest weekend on the travel calendar — the Beyond Borders Travel Summit and NTIA Finalist Celebration on Friday 17 October, followed by the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) on Saturday 18 October, at The Star Brisbane.
ATIA director of Membership and Industry Affairs Richard Taylor said, “Taking Beyond Borders on the road is an exciting next step. We’ve seen just how powerful these conversations can be, and now we’re bringing that energy directly to members and industry leaders in South Australia and Western Australia.
“This is all about creating more opportunities for connection, insight, and national engagement. With NTIA in Brisbane this year following stops in Melbourne and Sydney, BB On The Road continues that nationwide momentum,” he added.
“We’re proud to be delivering meaningful industry events in more locations — and these are just the beginning.”
BB On The Road events will feature:
- An ATIA update, including key initiatives for members and post-election advocacy.
- A national market snapshot.
- A curated panel on critical travel sector topics such as airline competition, border force, and airport operations.
- Dedicated networking opportunities and industry connection.
- A brief segment recognising local NTIA winners and finalists.
