The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has welcomed TravelPay as the major sponsor for the remaining Beyond Borders on the Road (BBOTR) events.
Following the success of Sydney’s event, with over 90 per cent of attendees saying they would recommend the event, the series continues in Brisbane (20 May), Adelaide (20 July) and Perth (22 July) in the lead-up to the flagship Beyond Borders summit in Melbourne on 09 October.
As the major sponsor, TravelPay brings their specialised knowledge of the travel sector and commitment to supporting the travel industry where they need it most. TravelPay provides an information session at each BBOTR event, giving an update on the RBA surcharge changes, as well as advice on how travel businesses can adapt to the changes.
The next BBOTR event is in Brisbane on 20 May and tickets are on sale now!
“BBOTR is one of the most significant events in the travel industry calendar; bringing together a wide range of professionals from across the country to connect, network and receive industry updates,” ATIA CEO Dean Long said. “The strong attendance uptake in Sydney reflects how vital events like this are for the travel industry, especially in times of uncertainty.
“TravelPay is excited to be sponsoring the full BBOTR series, bringing advice and information to travel professionals across the country,” TravelPay CEO Kevin Butler said. “The ban on card surcharging represents a significant change and TravelPay is proudly supporting travel professionals with options to help navigate this challenge and make the transition as simple and painless as possible.”
