The 2026 NTIA Finalist Celebration will be held on 9 October as the opening celebration of the NTIAs, giving finalists the opportunity to come together, connect with their peers and recognise what it means to be named among the best in Australia’s travel industry.
The Finalist Celebration has become an important part of the NTIA experience, giving finalists the chance to build relationships, share their stories and celebrate with others who understand the commitment required to reach this level of industry recognition.
Viking will return as major sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, continuing its longstanding support for Australia’s travel trade and the people and businesses that strengthen it. The cruise line will once again bring its distinctive hospitality to the event, creating an evening centred on connection, recognition and shared achievement.
“We’re looking forward to returning as the major sponsor for the NITA Finalist Celebration,” Viking managing director Michelle Black said. “It’s a great opportunity for finalists to connect with one another ahead of the NTIA Gala Dinner, and we’re proud to bring a sense of community and camaraderie to the NTIA weekend for the fourth year.”
Before the awards are presented and the Gala begins, the Finalist Celebration event brings together leading travel agents, tour operators, corporate travel businesses, suppliers and industry professionals in a more relaxed setting ahead of the NTIA Gala the following evening.
“We’re delighted to welcome Viking back as the major sponsor for the 2026 NTIA Finalist Celebration,” ATIA CEO Dean Long said. “The support of Viking is essential to the heart of the NTIAs: an atmosphere of celebration and anticipation.
“Since its creation, the Finalist Celebration has been a consistent crowd favourite, allowing finalists to connect, relax and celebrate with one another ahead of the NTIA winners being crowned the next night.”
