Atlas Ocean Voyages has announced a special epicurean expedition that visits wine cellars, distilleries, craft breweries and chocolateries along the coasts of Portugal, Spain and France.
Savings of 10 per cent and a choice of special ‘Explorer’s Choice’ bonuses like air credits, hotel stays or unlimited Wi-Fi are available for bookings made by 30 June 2025, through Australian small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller – the exclusive representative for Atlas Ocean Voyages in Australia.
Under the ‘Explorer’s Choice’ offer, guests can choose from three options – a US$1,000 (around AU$1,545) per stateroom air credit, a pre-expedition hotel and land package or enhanced unlimited Wi-Fi. Guests booking a stateroom can select one of the complimentary amenities, while those booking a suite can choose two.
Cruise Traveller is a highlighting a 10-night food and wine-themed cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona aboard Atlas Ocean Voyages’ deluxe, 198-guest ship, World Navigator, beginning on 27 September 2025.
The journey takes in an array of ports in Portugal and along the Spanish and French Rivieras from where guests can sample local wines, beers, spirits, produce and sweets, which all offer a palate-pleasing taste of local culture.
Destinations include the lively bars and cafes of Ibiza, the signature grilled sardines and traditional distilleries of Portimao in Portugal, the famous wines and sherries of Cadiz in Spain, the charming villages with local craft breweries near Cartagena in Spain and the alluring, French chocolate shops of Narbonne near Port Vendres.
The epicurean cultural cruise includes onboard beverages, onboard culinary demonstrations, cuisine and wine tastings, enrichment programs and workshops, a gourmet Josper Grill charcoal grill dining experience in the ship’s 7AFT Grill restaurant and culinary experiences ashore such as local market visits and specialty tastings.
