Cellarmasters has launched a range of free travel guides to Australia’s best wine regions!
According to Cellarmasters Cellar Director Christine Ricketts, the new guides aim to cut through the overwhelming (or worse, underwhelming) amount of information available for those seeking a weekend away in a wine region.
“So we’ve made it easy to plan your trip by handpicking the best cellar doors to match your wine preferences, as well as other things to see, do and enjoy in the region,” he said.
The guides also include special offers from some of the cellar doors, ranging from free tastings to discounts when purchasing wines upon visiting and showing the travel guide.
The travel guides are free to download and can be either saved to mobile or printed to use as booklets (two different print formats are available). Some will also be included as ‘surprise and delights’ in wine deliveries.
The wine retailer’s content team has worked closely with winemakers as well as local writers in creating the travel guides.
For example, the Swan Valley travel guide was written by Travelling Corkscrew wine blogger Casey Bryan, who used to live in the region.
“We wanted the guides to feature the places the locals recommend, as they know the area better than anyone else, and be written by people who know the regions. These guides will be regularly updated to ensure the information is up to date,” Ricketts explained.
“At Cellarmasters, we are passionate about creating connections between wine lovers and winemakers, and helping customers master their wine journey, and these guides literally do that.”
Cellarmasters travel guides to Hunter Valley, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Margaret River, Swan Valley, Orange and Adelaide Hills are currently available. More guides will be added to the portfolio in the coming months.
