Tourism Australia officially re-launched its Aussie Specialist Program training program to 100 major trade, airline and media partners in Japan last week at a special function.

Through a partnership with All Nippon Airways (ANA), 350 travel agents have already been trained so far and Tourism Australia is continuing to encourage more frontline travel sellers to effectively sell Australia via the program.

Japanese arrivals figures to Australia for the first four months of 2016 are up 30 per cent compared to the previous year with the market responding very positively to recent aviation capacity increases and associated marketing activities.
