Austria Tourism turned up the volume on destination marketing with a Eurovision-inspired dinner party that brought a little slice of Vienna to Sydney favourite Restaurant Hubert.

Hosted to celebrate the spirit of the Eurovision Song Contest, the evening immersed guests in Austria’s rich music culture, blending food, entertainment and a healthy dose of Eurovision theatrics.

Attendees embraced the theme wholeheartedly, earning their ‘Tanzschein’ dance licences, taking part in a lively quiz competition and singing along to live performances throughout the night.

The event also highlighted Austria’s growing appeal as a music tourism destination, with tourism representatives showcasing the country’s world-famous festivals, cultural experiences and inclusive travel offerings for LGBTQIA+ visitors.

A standout moment of the evening was the celebration of Australian music star Delta Goodrem, who secured an impressive fourth place at this year’s Eurovision competition in Vienna.

Austria Tourism has also launched a dedicated Eurovision media hub featuring destination inspiration, festival highlights and travel resources for Australian trade.

For agents and advisors looking to tap into experiential travel trends, Austria is clearly positioning itself as more than just alpine scenery: it’s a year-round cultural and music destination with plenty of personality.
