Azamara Cruises has unveiled an all-new entertainment experience aboard Azamara Pursuit, the first ship in the fleet to debut a new lineup of original stage productions developed in partnership with RWS Global.
Launched April 10, 2026, during the Japan Intensive Cruise visiting Kobe, Nagasaki, and Tokyo, Azamara Pursuit introduced the first wave of this new entertainment program, which will gradually roll out across the fleet.
The lineup features two brand-new shows exclusive to Pursuit – ‘Viva Vegas’ and ‘Yesterday, Today, and Forever’ – alongside fleet-wide shows ‘Written in the Stars’ and ‘Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions.’ Blending narrative-driven storytelling with music and immersive design, each production creates a vibrant evening experience onboard.

New stage productions
Created exclusively for Azamara Cruises, the productions combine powerhouse vocals, live musicians, cinematic visuals, and contemporary arrangements.
Azamara Pursuit
Viva Vegas: A high-energy, 40-minute theatrical concert that reimagines the golden age of Las Vegas lounge acts for today’s audiences. Combining Rat Pack-inspired swagger with modern pop flair, the show features dynamic choreography, playful storytelling, and unforgettable performances set against a backdrop of neon lights, crystal accents, and vintage glamour.
Yesterday, Today and Forever – A vibrant and immersive tribute celebrating the journey and cultural impact of The Beatles. Through iconic music, interactive staging, and period-inspired costumes, the production transports audiences through the defining moments and global influence of one of music’s most legendary bands.

Written in the Stars – Written in the Stars invites the Azamara audience on a breathtaking theatrical journey, where the night sky becomes a living canvas of performance, storytelling, and wonder. Guided by celestial muses, two star-crossed lovers embark on a journey that begins in a grand library and sweeps them into a world beyond the page.
Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions – A high-energy spectacle electrifying the stage with dynamic dancers, live musicians, multimedia projection, and bold storytelling, set within the immersive aesthetic of a vintage recording studio.
A new era of entertainment at sea
As the first ship to showcase this creative collaboration, Azamara Pursuit offers an early look at the brand’s reimagined approach to onboard entertainment. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience select performances featured across the fleet, including Written in the Stars and Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions, as the program expands.
Azamara Journey will be the next ship to feature these immersive experiences starting May 21, 2026, followed by Azamara Quest in November 2026 and Azamara Onward in March 2027.
The expanded multi-year partnership builds upon a creative relationship between Azamara and RWS Global, originally established in 2017. RWS Global’s roster of cruise clients also includes Holland America Line and MSC Cruises.
