Azamara Cruises is returning to Alaska for the first time since 2019, CEO Dondra Ritzenthaler has revealed on LinkedIn.
Ritzenthaler, who took up the top job at Azamara back in May, said the boutique cruise line will be returning to Alaska in 2026.
“We’ve designed these incredible itineraries to showcase the true essence of Alaska’s untamed beauty. From witnessing whales at sunrise to exploring towering glaciers, this isn’t just another cruise—it’s an adventure crafted to immerse you in the wild, rugged charm that makes Alaska so unique,” Ritzenthaler said.
The itineraries include several 10 and 11-day tours. The 11-night Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait, and Ketchikan tour takes guests through Alaska and the charming coast of British Columbia. Meanwhile the 10-Nights: Ketchikan, Skagway & Hubbard tour takes guests from Vancouver to Alaska.
The tours include ‘AzAmazing Evenings’ – cultural entertainment nights. An example of this is the iconic Lumberjack Show where Alaskan lumberjacks show off their skill.
Nature lovers will also be able to experience wildlife via the Spasski River Valley, Wildlife & Bear Search.
The itineraries also promise extended stays, access to remote locations such as Kodiak and a number of late departures so guests can immerse themselves in the port.
