RateHawk is entering its second decade with a sharpened focus on agentic AI and API-driven growth, as the B2B booking platform positions itself for the next phase of global travel expansion.
Celebrating 10 years in operation, the platform has evolved into a major player in the travel tech space, underpinned by an AI-led infrastructure and an expanding global supply network. The company now provides access to 3.2 million accommodation options, alongside flights, transfers, rail and car rental products, all within a single platform designed for travel professionals.
Growth remains strong. In 2025, RateHawk recorded a 40 per cent increase in annual net booking value and a 43 per cent rise in total bookings globally, highlighting sustained demand for consolidated B2B travel solutions.
“We launched RateHawk in 2016 as an experiment. At a time when the rise of individual bookings created uncertainty about the future of travel agents, we believed that strong travel expertise would remain in demand – but the industry needed better tools, smarter technology, and a more intuitive user experience,” said Felix Shpilman, President and CEO of Emerging Travel Group.
“We took a risk and applied our original B2C background to building a B2B platform with robust technology, extensive supply, and excellent UX. That approach has proven successful: today, more than 110,000 travel professionals across 120+ markets use RateHawk, including major OTAs, travel tech platforms, tour operators, and retail agencies. Their trust confirms that we are on the right path forward.”
A key pillar of the company’s next phase is API expansion, with bookings per API partner already up 40 per cent year-on-year in 2025. RateHawk is investing in faster, more stable integrations and expanding supply to strengthen long-term partnerships.
“As quality standards rise and workflows become faster, many companies are re-evaluating the tools and supply chains they use. They want higher efficiency, reliability, and a more accurate rate matching,” managing director Astrid Kastberg said.
“Thanks to advanced technology solutions and 250,000 direct contracts and 350 suppliers, including over 100 DMCs, RateHawk’s API offers exactly what industry stakeholders are looking for.”
AI is also playing a growing role across the platform. Agentic AI tools now handle around half of routine customer support requests, while smart search and recommendation systems are being deployed to streamline bookings and improve conversion rates.
Looking ahead, the company plans to roll out new products including insurance, alongside enhanced automation tools and localised payment solutions, as it continues to back travel advisors as a key driver of industry growth.
