Back-Roads Touring has announced a Zero Surcharge Policy, giving travellers full price certainty from the moment they book.
Covering all new and existing bookings made before 30 September 2026 for departures through to 31 December 2027, the policy means Back-Roads will absorb any increases in fuel, exchange rates and supplier costs that would otherwise trigger a post-booking surcharge. Whatever price is confirmed at booking is the price travellers pay – no exceptions.
General manager APAC Anna Fawcett said the move responds directly to traveller anxiety around rising costs.
“Travellers are looking for confidence and transparency when planning their holidays, right now more than ever,” she said. “Once your booking is confirmed, your tour price is locked in.”
The policy runs alongside Back-Roads’ existing Price Freeze campaign, through which travellers can secure a 2027 departure at 2026 prices – with the added guarantee of no surcharges after booking. The Price Freeze campaign concludes on 30 June.
