Back-Roads Touring will offer 2027 journeys at 2026 prices for a limited time, in addition to four new itineraries, as it unveiled its 2027 UK and Europe program.
Available from tomorrow, 7 May, to 30 June the price freeze comes at a time when rising costs and fluctuating travel expenses are front of mind for many travellers. By holding prices year-on-year, Back-Roads continues its Price Freeze initiative, for the fourth consecutive year, offering travellers certainty and value in an otherwise unpredictable market.
“In a market where costs continue to shift, locking in 2027 travel at 2026 prices is a powerful proposition,” Back-Roads Touring general manager APAC Anna Fawcett said. “It gives our guests the confidence to plan ahead, knowing exactly what they’re paying, while still securing the kind of deeply local, expertly crafted small-group experiences we’re known for.”
Alongside the campaign, Back-Roads has introduced three new itineraries for 2027 across Iceland, the Balkans and Yorkshire, alongside a new London extension designed to complement its touring program.
The new additions have been developed in response to growing demand from both travel advisors and customers, in these emerging, experience-led destinations.
New 2027 Back-Roads Touring itineraries:
- A Tale of Yorkshire Tradition
- Balkan Treasures: Albania, North Macedonia & Kosovo
- Iceland: Sagas & Springs
- London Uncovered

Highlights of A Tale of Yorkshire Tradition include a traditional high tea at the iconic Bettys Tea Room, a guided walk through historic Robin Hood’s Bay uncovering its smuggling past, and a scenic steam train journey from Pickering to Whitby.
On Balkan Treasures: Albania, North Macedonia & Kosovo, guests can expect immersive local experiences including regional wine and olive oil tastings, while Iceland: Sagas & Springs ventures beyond the crowds with visits to the Hvammsvik hot springs and a locally run plant dye studio.
A dedicated three-day London Uncovered pre tour extension completes the line-up, offering a seamless way for travellers to explore the capital with the ease and attention to detail Back-Roads is known for.
“Our new itineraries reflect what our customers and trade partners are asking for – unique, locally led experiences in destinations that continue to grow in popularity. Each itinerary is designed to go beyond the expected and deeper into the destination, the Back-Roads way,” Fawcett said.
The campaign comes as demand continues to grow for meaningful, small-group travel experiences, particularly among mature travellers seeking deeper connections, slower-paced itineraries and seamless travel planning.
With limited availability and strong early interest expected, travellers are encouraged to book before 30 June to take advantage of the offer.
