Bench Africa, Australia’s original Africa travel specialist, has launched its latest brochure, designed to streamline the travel planning process for agents and clients alike.
Drawing on nearly 56 years’ expertise, the latest edition of the brochure presents a curated selection of Africa’s most extraordinary destinations, with a host of new itineraries and innovative features tailored to the needs of the trade.
“We are thrilled to announce the launch the most trade-friendly Africa brochure on the market, featuring enhancements based on valuable agent feedback,” Bench Africa head of trade relations, Andy Kirkman, said.
“We understand the crucial role travel agents play in our success and remain committed to strengthening these relationships by providing the tools and resources needed to support both agents and their clients.
“Other recent and upcoming key improvements include investments in technology, expanded product offerings, and upgraded services, all designed to make the travel planning process easier and more efficient for our travel trade partners.”
Innovation for travel advisors
Developed with direct input from travel advisors, the new brochure introduces a range of enhancements to simplify itinerary selection and seasonal pricing access. Each itinerary now includes both a QR code for mobile users and a new Trip Code system, allowing quick desktop searches on Bench Africa’s upcoming redesigned website. This dual approach ensures fast and efficient access to seasonal pricing and departure dates, whether consulting in-person or remotely.
A new Travel Style tag has also been introduced to clearly distinguish between small group tours and independent tailormade journeys, eliminating any ambiguity and making it easier for advisors to match clients with their ideal safari experience.

Expanded itinerary collection
The latest brochure includes an expanded collection of tailormade trips and small group tours across Southern and East Africa. Among the standout additions:
- Valley Safari (Zambia): A deep dive into Zambia’s untouched regions, combining South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi in an itinerary that highlights the country’s raw beauty and rich wildlife whilst enjoying luxurious accommodation.
- Discover Kenya Scenic Air Safari: Exclusive to Bench Africa, this luxury journey features scenic flights in Bench-owned Cessna Grand Caravans, seamlessly connecting Ol Pejeta, the Masai Mara, and Amboseli.
- Northern Circuit: A brand-new affordable itinerary catering to those seeking off-the-tourist-trail experiences, incorporating Naivasha, Nakuru, Samburu, and Ol Pejeta, offering a mix of diverse landscapes and conservation-focused travel.
Bench Africa’s best-selling itineraries remain at the heart of the brochure, including the ever-popular Highlights of East Africa small group tour, South Africa Odyssey, and Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda, now featuring redesigned pages for clearer lodge selections.
Dedicated family travel section
Recognising the growing demand for multi-generational travel, the brochure includes a dedicated section on Family Safaris, highlighting malaria-free regions and properties catering specifically to families with young children.
Continued investment in the Future of Africa Travel
With demand for African travel at an all-time high, Bench Africa is experiencing its strongest sales period in history. This has allowed Bench Africa to invest in new technology with the purpose of better supporting the travel industry.
Following the overwhelmingly positive response to their new online interactive quotes, offering clients immersive itinerary previews with stunning imagery, Bench is preparing to launch a fully redesigned website. The sleek, user-friendly site will integrate seamlessly with the brochure, providing agents with an intuitive tool for presenting African travel options to clients.
Bench Africa has also expanded its owned fleet of Kenyan 4WD safari vehicles, introducing new luxury, 4-seater models designed for a more exclusive and comfortable game-viewing experience for high-end clients. Expect the typical pop-up roof, larger windows for unobstructed game viewing, extra luggage space and picnic awnings for a more comfortable morning tea stop under the Kenya sun.
