Booking.com has teamed up with five Eurovision legends to offer fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 like a contestant.
A lucky fan and a guest can get a chance to watch the Eurovision Grand Final in Basel and experience the competition like a contestant, with exclusive backstage access and the best seats in the house in the Booking.com Blue Room.
The Ultimate Eurovision Experience
The Eurovision fairytale begins on Friday 16 May, as the lucky booker and their guest are whisked away for a backstage tour of the St. Jakobshalle – the striking venue for this year’s contest –accompanied by 2009 Norwegian winner and 2018 entrant Alexander Rybak for an exclusive sneak peek behind the scenes of Eurovision.
After a moment to rest and recharge at the Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel, they attend Booking.com’s Legends Dinner. In between canapes, drinks and a three-course meal, they can watch intimate performances from: 2014 Austrian winner Conchita Wurst, 1999 winner and 2008 entrant for Sweden Charlotte Perrelli, 2016 Ukrainian winner Jamala, and Alexander Rybak. After dinner, Jedward, the energetic identical twins who represented Ireland in 2011 and 2012, rounds out the night with a sing-a-long session for the VIP guests.
With this year’s host city considered the cultural capital of Switzerland, the booker will also receive €500 of Booking.com credits so they can explore the best of Basel’s attractions during their visit.
On the big night, the two fans can watch the Grand Final in the company of Eurovision Legends in the Booking.com Blue Room. Located next to this year’s Green Room, the Booking.com Blue Room is as close to all the action of this year’s contest as it’s possible to get without taking part – an unforgettable, douze points experience for any Eurovision fan.
“As a Swiss native and massive music fan, my heart is swelling with pride that we are collaborating with five Eurovision Legends to create such an iconic experience in Basel for two of our lucky customers,” Booking.com senior vice president of accommodations, Matthias Schmid, said. “Being able to bring together the inclusive, unifying magic of Eurovision with the joy of travel is truly a delight.”
