So unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks, you would’ve heard about Travel Weekly’s bangin’ new event, Launchpad!

No? Well, allow us to elaborate…

Launchpad is the new event to help travel industry talents to stick a rocket under their careers and shoot up into the sky. Not literally, though, that would be dangerous.

The event involves speed mentoring with some of the best, most innovative minds in the business (think Gil McLachlan and Lisa Pagotto – plus six more), coaching sessions on things like climbing the ladder, upskilling and asking for a payrise, AND the chance to network with industry peers and your kick-ass mentors during tasty break times.

And because we want everyone to have the chance to attend, tickets are dirt cheap. Seriously – we want to help you boost your career!

You can snag tickets for just $64.90 a pop (click here). Even your boss can afford to expense that for you. And if not, that’s what tax claims are for!

We’re also in the process of securing a seriously talented keynote speaker, even more amazing coaches, and working on one hell of a program that will leave you with real-world, actionable practices you can start straight away in order to fire up your working life – think salaries, sales and marketing tips.

A big thing is the whole issue around novice retention. We heard Flight Centre’s Skroo Turner talk about it last year, and we’re following up on it, because it’s a major bummer when talented young guns leave the industry.

The mentoring and networking is rapid-fire and gives attendees the chance to ask questions of travel leaders they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.

Travel Weekly believes this day will enable everyone, from those starting out their journey in travel to mid-level, to seek out new career opportunities, learn tricks of the trade, and find actual answers to every burning career question.

So let’s get into the nitty gritty!

Here’s all your must-know details, plus an outline of the day’s program.

Date: Wednesday, 28 February 2018

Time: 9am – 4pm

Place: Doltone House – Darling Island Wharf, Sydney

Tickets: Buy those suckers HERE – they’re just $64.90 a pop!
