British Airways is celebrating the completion of its first flight entirely operated by an all-Black crew, it’s the first time in the airline’s history.
The flight operated from Bridgetown in Barbados to London’s Heathrow
It was staffed by Black employees, from dispatchers, cabin crew and pilots, gate agents, ground and staff.
It took place during Black History Month in the UK.
A staff member tweeted photos from the flight, calling it a “very monumental day in BA’s history.”

Matthew Wilson was a passenger onboard the flight and also tweeted the airline in support.
