Tickets for the Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bush are nearly sold out with Australia’s largest outback already at 90 per cent capacity six months before the event.
Taking place from 21-23 August on the red earth of the Mundi Mundi Plains, the all-ages, dog-friendly, camping-based festival continues to attract thousands of music lovers from across the country.
Festival owner and managing director of the Outback Music Festival Group, Greg Donovan, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our dedicated festival goers,” he said.
“We know that while the Big Red Bash event is taking a temporary breather this year some of those intrepid travellers are coming to Broken Hill for their annual Bash fix.
“We can’t wait to get back out to the MundiMundi Plains for an epic party in the Outback with our pop-up city that has a ‘population’ close to the size of Broken Hill itself. The whole town has embraced us and each year our festival goers have more to experience in the region with businesses organising special activities and promotions in town pre and post the Bash. It’s wonderful to see all aspects of the event continue to grow.”

The 2025 lineup features ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Missy Higgins, iconic rockers Hoodoo Gurus, The Cat Empire, Birds of Tokyo, The Angels, Kasey Chambers, Kate Ceberano and Leo Sayer.
Festival mainstays Chocolate Starfish will return for their fourth Mundi Mundi Bash, joined by acts such as Brad Cox, Rose Tattoo, Ross Wilson, Shannon Noll, Pierce Brothers, Thirsty Merc, Dragon, Mi-Sex and Sarah McLeod. Special tribute performances, including Ziggy – 50 Years of David Bowie starring Iota, Jeff Duff, Steve Balbi, and Bryden Stace, add to the diverse program.
Local musicians will also take the stage, with Leroy Johnson and the Waterbag Band and Tha Boiz bringing their signature Outback energy to the festival.
Beyond the music, the Mundi Mundi Bash offers a packed schedule of entertainment and activities that embrace the spirit of the Outback. Festival-goers can take part in world record attempts for the ‘Nutbush’ dance, the Big Blue Day and ‘Mad Max dress-up,’ a charity Mundi Undi fun run, as well as comedy shows, outdoor film screenings, scenic helicopter flights, morning yoga, camel rides, dunny door painting, an animal petting zoo, and more.
