Q Travel has taken home the coveted BTTB Travel Programme of the Year award.
Australian booking and payment solution provider, the Lido Group, a key supplier to Q Travel responsible for processing corporate hotel bookings and payments for employees of all core Government departments and agencies, congratulated the company on its win yesterday.
The non-mandated program, which was announced as the winner at the BTTB awards dinner last week, can also be used by major Queensland Government-owned corporations.
“The Queensland Government has brought together some of the industry’s leading suppliers to create a highly-effective and innovative program,” The Lido Group managing director Steve Mackenzie said.

“Nowhere has that pioneering approach been more evident than in its corporate hotel programme, with Lido’s technology allowing participating departments and agencies to conveniently track not just accommodation bookings but also hotel chargebacks, including, for the first time, all hotel incidentals and meals.
“By enabling organisations to monitor all aspects of a corporate traveller’s accommodation spend, Lido, in partnership with the Queensland Government, has set a new benchmark for the industry.”
