Sunshine, mimosas and travel inspo? Try find a better way to end the week.
Okay. We know it’s Monday. But we’re still thinking about Friday – when Busabout launched their newest Asia and Europe offerings with breakfast drinks, Triple J’s Alex Dyson, some pretty tasty food and a snippet of what it’s like to travel with Busabout.
Even though the aforementioned sunshine was lacking, guests managed to stay warm and toasty inside Bondi’s The Bucket List with hot coffee (and by jumping up and down with some Pumpd inflatables).
Tina McIntosh, General Manager of Busabout Australasia, presented highlights of the new brochures – which were basically created from real life Busabout travellers.
“We’re thrilled about the exciting destinations and music festivals we’re offering this season.
“We pride ourselves on providing travellers with complete flexibility and our Hop-on Hop-off flexible travel network is still a favourite for those wanting the freedom to explore Europe, with a little guidance along the way.
“Now, with our new fleet of green coaches, they can feel good about their journey too,” she said.
Former Triple J presenter Alex Dyson also spoke about his recent trip with Busabout – from learning how to braid hair to finding himself.
“It’s flexible where you choose to stay depending on budget so either an Airbnb or hostel, I also stayed with friends I made along the way.
“The highlights are the little moments in time such as watching a waterfall cascade onto the Isle of Skye in Scotland, cutting some rad shapes at Ultra Music Festival and seeing the sun come up on a rooftop in Croatia,” he said.
Guests also got to watch some short videos of a typical Busabout Europe trip – which only made us want to book a flight and ~hop on~ the Busabout route instead of heading back to the office for the arvo.
But with new stops through Spain and Portugal and a ton of new itineraries, Busabout is set to kill it in 2018 – so maybe we can wait.
