Footage of a Qantas flight attendant wearing her uniform for the first time since the start of the pandemic is melting hearts across the internet.
Erin Camilleri, who is also an influencer, posted clips to TikTok and Instagram showing the joyful moment.
“I got to put my uniform on today and go to work for the first time since March 2020 😍 CALLS FOR A HAPPY DANCE YAY,” she captioned her TikTok video, which has a whopping more than 250,000 views.

Camilleri was stood down from her job with the national carrier in March 2020, according to another post on her Instagram.
“I lived for my job (still do) and had no choice but to take a break from it,” she told her following of just over 42,000 people.
“Fast forward 18 months and I’m so proud of everything I’ve accomplished and am even more excited for what life has in store!”
“IT’S SO CLOSE I CAN FEEL IT!” she said.
“I guess this is just me saying WOW OH WOW, I’m grateful for the life that I live, and WOW OH WOW, I can’t wait to keep sharing it with you all.”
Last month, Qantas announced it would stand down a further 2,500 frontline workers across its network for at least two months in response to ongoing COVID-19 outbreaks.
The decision mostly impacted domestic pilots, cabin crew and airport workers, mostly in NSW but also in other states. However, the workers’ pay only continued until mid-August.
In June last year, the national carrier announced a three-year plan to accelerate recovery from the global pandemic, including reducing its workforce by at least 6,000 roles across all parts of the business and standing down 15,000 employees.
Qantas plans to resume 12 international routes from 18 December in line with the National Cabinet’s plan to gradually reopen international borders once Australia reaches an 80 per cent vaccination rate.
