Carnival Cruise Line has appointed Resolution Digital as their SEO and journey optimisation agency of record, following a highly competitive pitch process.

The appointment sees the agency deliver data-driven strategies and customer-centric digital experiences designed to accelerate Carnival’s growth and cement its position as Australia’s leading cruise line.

Originally seeking an SEO-specific partner, Carnival selected Resolution Digital based on a differentiated response that framed SEO (augmented by strategic AI and GEO applications) as a foundational lever for broader digital experience transformation. This approach integrated search journey growth with journey optimisation (CRO), user experience (UX/UI), and customer experience (CX). This future-focused approach not only secured the account but also established Resolution Digital as a long-term evolution partner in supporting Carnival’s ongoing digital growth journey.

“We’re investing in SEO not just as a channel, but as a driver of long-term brand growth,” Carnival Cruise Line senior performance marketing manager Jonathan Vittachi said. “This partnership marks the next step in how Australians discover Carnival online, making every search an inspiring first step in their holiday journey.”

“Carnival is one of Australia’s most loved travel brands, and our partnership is about helping them turn discoverability into measurable growth,” Resolutioin Digital managing director Melanie Burlett said.

“By combining the science of SEO with the creativity of CX and CRO, we’ll make it easier for families and first-timers to find, trust, and book their next Carnival holiday. We’ve loved working with Jonathan and his team throughout such a highly professional and collaborative pitch process, and we can’t wait to embark on this partnership together.”

Carnival Cruise Line is part of Carnival Corporation & plc, one of the world’s largest leisure travel companies. They aim to deliver unforgettable happiness to guests by providing extraordinary cruise holidays, while honouring the integrity of every ocean sailed.

The SEO remit will set sail in November 2025, and CRO comes aboard from January 2026.
