Celebrity Edge has commenced its third Australian season, offering travellers a premium, immersive way to explore some of the remarkable destinations across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.

Fresh from a 19-night Transpacific sailing from Honolulu, the ship arrived in Sydney early this morning, ready to welcome guests on an exciting lineup of sailings through April 2026.

With 17 sailings departing from Sydney and Auckland, guests can choose from a diverse selection of itineraries from short four-night escapes to immersive 14-night journeys. Kicking off the season, Celebrity Edge departs this afternoon on an 11-night journey to explore the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef – setting the tone for an exciting season Down Under.

“With its revolutionary, outward-facing design, Celebrity Edge has been a game changer for the cruise industry – offering guests premium travel with enriching experiences and culinary journeys,” Celebrity Cruises vice president and managing director, Australia and Asia Pacific Tim Jones said.

“Sailings on Celebrity Edge are much more than just a holiday, and we’re thrilled to welcome her back to these waters for a third season – providing immersive experiences that showcase all this incredible region has to offer.”

This season, Celebrity Cruises is providing greater access to New Zealand with seven of its 17 itineraries dedicated to exploring this remarkable region. A 13-night Holiday Cruise is a highlight, offering travellers the opportunity to elevate their festive season with visits to New Zealand’s breathtaking fjords, including Milford, Doubtful, and Dusky Sounds, along with seven port stops across the North and South Islands.

Additionally, guests can book a nine-night Australia Wine Journey along the eastern and southern coasts, exploring renowned vineyards throughout Hobart, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, and Melbourne.

The new season also introduces 54 new and exclusive shore excursions for guests seeking elevated land-based adventures. Among these highlights is a brand-new selection of experiences in Newcastle, where Celebrity Edge makes its first-ever port call this December.

Guests can enjoy a captivating sculpture walk, complemented by a wine tasting and lunch tour – delivering the perfect blend of relaxation and local flavour. Meanwhile in Wellington, a new wellness-focused tour invites guests to unwind amid scenic countryside. After a short drive to Mangaroa Farm, visitors can enjoy a guided garden tour by the knowledgeable team, participate in a calming yoga session set beside native bush and flowing water with a qualified instructor, and savour light refreshments featuring fresh ingredients from the farm itself.

Celebrity Edge offers endless opportunities to explore and restore with 29 bars, restaurants, and lounges, over 120 spa treatments, and production shows that rival Broadway and the West End. The iconic Magic Carpet – the world’s first cantilevered, floating platform at sea – offers a unique way to dine, drink and connect with the destination, while the ship’s unique Infinite Veranda staterooms provide a more spacious way to travel.

In a historic first, Celebrity Solstice arrives in port tomorrow, marking Celebrity Cruises’ first consecutive port days in Sydney Harbour, and demonstrating the line’s strong commitment to the region. Following tomorrow’s visit, the renewed Celebrity Solstice will return on 9 April 2026, debuting bow to stern updates – including eight new experiences, including four new-to-sea spaces, and many redesigned favorites – as part of the Solstice Series US$250 million (around AU$383 million) modernisation.

Building on this momentum, Celebrity Solstice returns to Australia and New Zealand next season, offering a range of exciting itineraries including a 13-night Best of New Zealand cruise, 10-night Australia Wine voyage, and a 12-night South Pacific adventure. These sailings allow guests to experience the award-winning service and amenities Celebrity is famous for, while experiencing a reimagined holiday with reinvented outdoor escapes, new dining and entertainment options, as well as all-new stateroom categories.
