Celebrity Edge returned to our region today for a much-anticipated second season with guests able to choose from 17 itineraries sailing out of Sydney and calling on new ports this season across Samoa, Fiji, American Samoa and Tonga.

From now through April 2025, guests will be transported on Australia’s first cruise ship to be recommended by the Forbes Travel Guide, to an impressive collection of 26 ports, showcasing the best of Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.

Returning to Auckland.

“We’re thrilled Celebrity Edge will be returning to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific for a second season, providing guests an unmatched cruise experience designed to connect them closer to the destination,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises.

“Celebrity’s elevated holiday options are redefining travel, especially in this region where guests can enjoy the Edge Series difference.”

Joining Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Solstice will also return to Australia for two turns departing from Sydney on 19 October 2024, travelling up to Asia, and 9 April 2025, and transporting guests through Fiji and onto Hawaii.

Sailing out of Sydney.

Elevated experiences enjoyed on Celebrity Edge include:

Transformational accommodation includes the two-storey Edge Villas with plunge pools, plus the ship’s signature Infinite Veranda staterooms, that take guests right to the water’s edge, giving them open-air access to the sea with the touch of a button.

The Retreat, exclusive to all suite guests, with its private restaurant, Luminae, and exclusive lounge and sundeck. In addition, guests of The Retreat have a team of butlers and concierges on-hand 24/7. Other food and beverage offerings include 29 restaurants, bars and lounges with globally-inspired menus.

The Spa, a 2,043sqm wellness destination offers an array of treatments; the SEA Thermal Suite featuring eight rooms including a steam room, float room, salt room and heated tile loungers, among others, plus a range of beauty and fitness experiences including a Kerastase Salon group spin classes and yoga.

Heading to the sounds.

Highlights of the 2024 –25 season include:

A 4-night getaway sailing to Tasmania to experience the region’s stunning scenery, wildlife and rich history.
13- and 11-night sailings to experience the allure of New Zealand, with every itinerary visiting the splendours of both the North and South islands, offering a captivating journey through picturesque landscapes.

A 13-night round-trip voyage from Auckland, experiencing the beauty of Suva, the capital of Fiji, the bustling seafood markets and vibrant nightlife of Apia, Samoa as well as New Zealand’s awe-inspiring Bay of Islands.

The 9-night Australian Wine cruise takes in iconic wine regions where guests can sample rich reds of the Barossa Valley, cool-climate chardonnay in the Yarra Valley, and delicious sparkling wines across Bass Strait in Tasmania.

A 13-night sailing over Christmas and New Year’s, taking in the epic beauty of New Zealand’s world-class coastlines, fjords and cosmopolitan cities. Highlights include wine tasting in the vineyards near Napier, the beauty of Dunedin and the breath-taking Dusky, Doubtful and Milford Sounds in the South Island. The festive atmosphere is brought to life with holiday decorations, festive delicacies and holiday performances and activities.
