Celestyal has received a Gold Award in the Innovative Product category at the Tourism Awards 2026 in Greece for introducing SuitePad technology across all cabins onboard Celestyal Journey.

It was one of seven awards received by the company this year, including five Gold and two Silver accolades. SuitePad tablets in every cabin onboard Celestyal Journey allow guests to access ship information, book services and shore excursions, make purchases and submit requests directly from their staterooms at any time during their journey. The technology enhances convenience and personalisation, while also supporting the company’s sustainability efforts through the reduction of printed materials onboard.

With this initiative, Celestyal became the first cruise company internationally to introduce in-cabin tablets across all cabins on a ship-wide scale, creating a more seamless and connected onboard experience without requiring guests to download applications onto their personal devices.

“Celestyal set a new benchmark for the cruise industry with this rollout, and we are proud that SuitePad played a part in it,” SuitePad CEO Moritz von Petersdorf-Campen said.

“They became the first cruise company in the world to put in-cabin devices in every cabin, ship-wide. With no apps to download and no friction, guests experience a better experience from the moment they step onboard. That is exactly the kind of forward-thinking partnership we built SuitePad for. We look forward to continuing to raise the bar together.”

“At Celestyal, we are continuously looking for ways to enhance our onboard experience while maintaining the warm and personal hospitality that defines our brand,” Celestyal vice president of hotel operations and passenger services Alexis Economou said.

“Our partnership with SuitePad has allowed us to introduce an innovative and intuitive solution that brings greater comfort and convenience to our guests throughout their journey. We are delighted to see this collaboration recognised with a Gold Award and look forward to continuing to evolve the guest experience together.”

The recognition comes during another milestone year for Celestyal, marking its 12th consecutive year of distinctions at the Tourism Awards and reaffirming its position as a leading ambassador of Greek culture, hospitality and destination-focused cruising across the region.
