Gold Coast Business Events’ post-Dreamtime educational has hit the right spot with some of China’s most influential decision makers for incentives and corporate meetings according to a survey.

The program of “distinctly Gold Coast experiences” for the incentive market was showcased to 21 key agents and five media representatives after Tourism Australia’s December Dreamtime event.

Survey results show that the Greater China delegation was “highly impressed” with the Gold Coast’s incentive capabilities, with satisfaction ratings coming in at an unbeatable 100%.

Gold Coast Business Events director Anna Case said the results show the Gold Coast as “perfectly matched” to the needs of the key Chinese market.

“These agents look for dream destinations, with an incredibly high standard of infrastructure, accommodation and unique activities to deliver a true sense of reward. We’re delighted the Gold Coast was able to well and truly deliver,” she said.

Check out more results of the survey below:

  • Almost 80% said they were much more likely to actively promote the Gold Coast as a destination with the remainder indicating they were more likely to do so.
  • 100% were satisfied with the Post Dreamtime Educational, with over 71% highly satisfied.
  • 96% indicated their perception of the destination had changed following their visit.
