China Southern Airlines will increase its flight frequency on the Guangzhou-Perth and Guangzhou-Adelaide routes to accommodate the upcoming peak travel season.

From 1 December 2026 until 10 March 2027, flights from Guangzhou to Perth and Adelaide will increase to a daily seven times per week from three times per week.

With this increase, China Southern Airlines will operate daily round-trip services between Guangzhou and both Perth and Adelaide, giving passengers greater flexibility and more convenient options during the peak season.

In local flight times, Guangzhou to Perth will take flight from 13:35 to 21:25 while Perth to Guangzhou is scheduled 23:25 to 07:15+1. Guangzhou to Adelaide will take flight from 22:25 to 09:55+1 while Adelaide to Guangzhou is scheduled 11:30 to 18:05.

China Southern Airlines operates the CZ319/CZ320 Guangzhou-Perth and CZ663/CZ664 Guangzhou-Adelaide routes on Boeing 787 aircrafts.

Guangzhou, the main hub of China Southern Airlines, serves as a gateway connecting travellers to more than 170 destinations across China, Asia, Europe and beyond. To ensure a more comfortable journey for transiting passengers, the airline offers complimentary one-night transit accommodation in Guangzhou for eligible passengers with a connection time of between 6 and 30 hours on China Southern Airlines operated flights.

Passengers with a connection time of at least 8 hours in Guangzhou can also join a complimentary 5.5-hour guided tour to discover the city’s culture and heritage. Passengers can book the additional flights via the company website.

The airline has been serving major Australian cities for a long while. Less than a year ago, China Southern Airlines commemorated the 25th anniversary of its Guangzhou-Sydney route.
