Lufthansa Group has launched their mixed-class airfares for passengers aboard Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian airlines, and across 13 partner carriers including Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways, ANA, Air Canada, United Airlines and South African Airways.

Agents can book mixed fares across the entire Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Swiss or Austrian Airlines**) and connect passengers from multiple gateways in Asia, North and South America and Africa, to Europe’s central cities including Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich or Vienna and on to over 170 destinations across Europe.

Passengers want to travel in comfort but they don’t want to break the bank, so for long-haul travellers this is the perfect solution. It not only provides the opportunity to experience high quality business or first class cabins, but also put them in control.

The flexible option allow passengers to choose the comfort of Business or First Class for the long leg of the journey only. This value deal is available across the unique Lufthansa Group and is sure to excite travellers who want to experience Business/First Class flights but cannot justify the usual costs.

Mixed Economy/Business – travel economy class on partner airlines from/to Australia and Business class on LH (fully combinable on ½ RT basis with LX and OS mixed Economy/Business fares)

Mixed Business/First – travel business class on partner airlines from/to Australia and first class* on LH long haul, business on LH short-haul (fully combinable on ½ RT basis with LX Mixed/First Business fares)

Economy-business class mixed-fare customers can start their journey in economy, and upgrade to Business class for the comfort of flat beds on long haul flight for AUD 3,500 (+ tax) aboard Swiss and Austrian airlines, and Lufthansa. For business-first mixed-class fares, customers can upgrade to the luxury comfort of first class that offers intuitive seat controls. It is available for AUD 8,900 (+ tax) aboard Lufthansa and Swiss airlines.

“With these new products, Lufthansa Group delivers world class premium services at affordable prices through its Australian travel agents,” Anil Rodricks, General Manager at Lufthansa Group said.

This unique service is not restricted to seasonality, so whether passengers are travelling during peal or low periods, they can get value for money all year round.
