The Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) has announced its biggest-ever lineup of international speakers for this year’s expanded Cruise 360 Australasia Conference in Brisbane.

Marking the event’s 10th Anniversary, CLIA presents a packed program of 10 international cruise line leaders this August 27-28, each offering a global perspective to help Australasian travel consultants grow their business in a rapidly evolving industry.

The sold-out event, at the Royal International Convention Centre Brisbane, is set to be the biggest ever held in Australasia, bringing together more than 850 CLIA members including travel agents, cruise line representatives, ports & destinations, travel industry suppliers and other cruise sector stakeholders.

The conference has been expanded to a two-day format for the first time and takes the theme Navigate, Innovate, Excel.

“Cruise360 Australasia is an essential forum for our industry as we unite to discuss our strengths, challenges and future direction,” CLIA Australasia managing director, Joel Katz, said. “Never before have we had so many visiting speakers from other parts of the world, giving us a rare opportunity to consider our future in a global context and to learn from the overseas experience.”

Cruise360 Australasia takes place on August 27-28.

  • Bud Darr, CLIA President & CEO
  • Helen Beck, Windstar Managing Director – Global Commercial
  • Liz Fettes, Cunard Senior Vice President North America & Australasia
