The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has introduced a new Marketing Toolkit for its Aussie members, providing resources to help promote cruise holidays and highlight their standing as cruise specialists.
Available in the CLIA Members Hub, the new Marketing Toolkit was designed to provide a year-round collection of ready-to-use assets that CLIA members can integrate into their own marketing activities.
It includes a range of CLIA-branded items including logos, flyers, video reels, graphics and social media tiles. It also provides simple advice on where and how to use the resources.
“We wanted to create practical, off-the-shelf resources that travel agent members could use easily in their day-to-day marketing, while at the same time reinforcing their status as the most informed cruise specialists around,” CLIA executive director Australasia Joel Katz said.
“A key message throughout is that CLIA-certified travel agents have committed to specialist training, which makes them expert advisors when it comes to cruise holidays.”
Katz also said the toolkit contents helps promote the many styles of cruise holidays available to different market segments, while at the same time highlighting the many advantages of booking through a specialist travel agent.
The resources include a Cruise with Confidence Suite of social media assets that explain the expertise of CLIA-certified travel agents, as well as a Cruise Essentials Social Kit showcasing the range of cruising experiences available.
The toolkit’s introduction as a year-round resource follows the success of CLIA’s annual Cruise Month Toolkit, which offers downloadable marketing assets to promote October’s Cruise Month campaign. More than 3,000 CLIA travel agents visited the Cruise Month Toolkit to make use of its marketing resources last year, a 51 per cent increase over the previous year.
The new Members Marketing Toolkit for 2026 is available exclusively to CLIA members via the CLIA Members Hub.
