Club Med has partnered with On the Go Tours for a premium Marrakech Famil that welcomed 10 travel agents to Morocco to experience its exclusive Kasbahs and Cocktails trip.
Selected through a lucky draw competition, 10 agents from Queensland, northern NSW and the Northern Territory were given a unique opportunity to experience Club Med’s premium all-inclusive offering firsthand, combining an immersive tour of Morocco’s cultural highlights with a stay at the breathtaking Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie.
The trip kicked off with a seven-day Imperial Morocco & Blue City Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech with On the Go Tours, giving agents an immersive introduction to Morocco’s rich history, culture and landscapes. Travelling in comfort with expert local guides, the carefully crafted itinerary showcased the country’s most iconic highlights, including the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, and the imperial cities of Fes, Meknes and Rabat. Agents also experienced Morocco’s vibrant medinas, bustling souks and authentic local traditions that make Morocco so captivating.
Staying in beautiful boutique riads and travelling by private coach, they discovered firsthand the ease and value of escorted touring, with seamless logistics and in-depth destination knowledge brought to life. The journey highlighted how On the Go Tours delivers immersive, stress-free travel that allows guests to truly connect with a destination. The group was also joined by Managing Director Pete Rooney, underscoring the significance of this exciting collaboration between the two brands.
Following the tour, agents stayed at Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie, where they participated in a specially curated agenda designed to showcase the resort’s premium family-friendly offering.
During their stay at Club Med, agents took part in a comprehensive site inspection of the resort, exploring the tailored Family Oasis Rooms and the five-star Exclusive Collection Le Riad, gaining firsthand insight into the range of accommodation options available for all types of travellers. They experienced a wide range of excursions, including quad biking across the Agafay Desert, a camel ride from the Club Med Ranch, and a trip to the Medina with the resorts shuttle bus, showcasing the unique adventures available directly from the resort.
Agents also enjoyed immersive dining experiences, sampling both the main restaurant La Palmeraie and the specialty restaurant El Kabir, while a cocktail party at Le Riad, Exclusive Collection Bar offered an opportunity to network and unwind in style. Evenings were filled with entertainment and on-site activities, allowing agents to experience the vibrant resort atmosphere.
