Club Med announces second ‘Nominate a Mate’ winner

Club Med has announced this week’s winner of its Nominate a Mate competition, slinging TravelManager’s Melissa Loynes a free holiday.

Kicking off earlier this month, the holiday company has been calling for travel agents and industry professionals to nominate their colleagues who they reckon deserve a future holiday.

Loynes was nominated by fellow TravelManager’s agent, Dana Brown, who said Loynes has been an inspiration to her during this period.

Not only is Loynes going through life in lockdown in Victoria while running her travel business during a pandemic, but she is also at the hospital day in and day out while her stepson goes through chemo.

On top of this, she has also pivoted and re-positioned her business to offer a more exclusive and immersive boutique surprise for clients wanting to getaway close to home when Victoria starts to open.  

“The most amazing thing about Mel is her bubbly personality that overflows with warmth and positivity in a time where she could have easily gone into victim mode,” Brown said.
