Club Med has showcased a new South Africa resort with Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari, set to open in July 2026 and has wrapped up a strong of events across Australia, meeting with key figures across the travel industry.
Hosting several events across Melbourne, Perth and Sydney in partnership with South African Airways, South Africa Tourism and KwaZulu Natal Tourism, attendees enjoyed presentations from each partner, an African inspired meal courtesy of the Meat & Wine Co and traditional South African entertainment.
Providing attendees with an immersive taste of South African culture and experiences that await at Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari, the events highlighted the new resort’s exciting features, tailored family-friendly offering, strong commitment to sustainability and community partnerships.
“Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari represents a major milestone for our brand, not only as our first-ever resort in South Africa, but also as our pioneering dual-location offering,” Club Med Pacific and New ESAP Markets general manager Michelle Davies said.
“This resort allows travellers to immerse themselves in the best that South Africa has to offer, from pristine beaches to unforgettable safari adventures, all within a premium all-inclusive setting.
“Today, Club Med is reimagining the world of all-inclusive and wholeheartedly providing transformative holiday experiences. With a strong heritage in family travel, we’re now leaning into our family expertise to cater to the next generation of affluent families seeking both comfort and adventure.
“We are thrilled to be introducing Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari, our first dual concept resort combining a stunning beach resort along the Dolphin Coastline with a safari experience nestled within a private game reserve in KwaZulu-Natal Province.
“Partnering with South African Airways, South Africa Tourism and KwaZulu Natal Tourism to host our valued partners, clients, and journalists at these events gave us the opportunity to share the story of what awaits and provide a first-hand glimpse of the experiences that will set a new benchmark in premium, all-inclusive travel.
“With South Africa growing in popularity among Australian travellers, this resort is a key part of our global expansion plans and aligns perfectly with our upscale offering.”
Releasing its results for the first half of 2024 last month, Club Med recorded a business volume of EUR1.175 billion (AU$2 billion) at a global level, with the Pacific market demonstrating an increase in business volume of 16 per cent. With these results reinforcing travellers’ desires for all-inclusive holidays, Club Med is well-positioned to build on this momentum with its pipeline of resort openings.
Sales for the highly anticipated Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari will open on 14 October 2025 as part of the second opening of Club Med’s Endless Summer Sale 2026. Travel Agents are encouraged to keep an eye out for more information.
