Contiki has launched lower everyday pricing to deliver up to 18 per cent lower costs for young travellers across 70 per cent of Europe trips and more.
They know rising cost of living pressures are making it harder for young people to prioritise travel, so they’re decreasing price barriers with better everyday low values, not just during sales – so travellers can book with confidence whenever they’re ready.
“We know young travellers want real value, not just short-term sales,” Contiki chief customer officer Toni Ambler said. “This new pricing model means they can book with certainty at the best price, whenever they’re ready.”
With 2026 just around the corner, Contiki’s newly implemented pricing strategy means travellers are getting better everyday value across trips. Travellers booking Europe 2026 Contiki trips now can already feel the benefits with nearly 70 per cent of its Europe summer 2026 departures now offered at a lower price in-line with the new structure. This allows travellers to book with confidence without waiting for short-term promotions. Europe 2026 tours including European Whirl, European Discovery and European Adventurer have seen an average 18 per cent price reduction across tour booking dates.
As part of this pricing strategy, all tours can be secured with a $200 deposit and paid off with monthly payment plans.
In addition to the lower prices, Contiki’s Europe portfolio for 2026 also includes new itineraries with built-in value. Such trips include the eight-day Road Trip to Oktoberfest with stops in Amsterdam, Brussels, and Frankfurt; the seven-day Norway Fjords Explorer, which features active experiences such as hikes, kayaking, and a King Crab safari; and the Croatia Island Sail & Ultra Festival With Festigo, which combines a week of sailing the Adriatic with access to an EDM festival.
Contiki’s expanded 2026 portfolio responds to travellers’ growing desire for smaller group experiences, with 25 per cent of trips now capped at 24 people or fewer. It also meets increasing demand for rail journeys, with options such as Rome to Barcelona by Train and Paris to Rome by Train offering sustainable and scenic connections between iconic European cities.
For those looking to stay active, Contiki’s Active Alps and Active Swiss Alps pair hiking, rafting and biking with extended stays in Austria and Switzerland’s alpine regions. New active experiences also include ghyll scrambling in England’s Lake District on England in a Week, canoeing on Loch Ness as part of Scotland in a Week, and a bog walk near Riga on Best of Baltics.
“From lower-priced Europe trips to diverse styles of travel and flexible ways to book, Contiki is opening the door for young people to plan earlier and look forward to experiences that feel both attainable and unforgettable,” Ambler added.
“It’s about empowering travellers to say yes to their next adventure with the assurance that every journey delivers maximum savings and meaningful experiences.”
