Contiki announced its newest trips including new active adventure and cultural deep dive style trips to the USA, Canada, Jeju Island, Vietnam, Rwanda and Cape Town, among others.

The youth travel brand’s new trips feature a variety of travel styles to various destinations, including some that Contiki has never visited before.

The North American Glaciers and National Parks is an active adventure style trip that takes travellers to the Banff & Jasper National Parks in Canada and Glacier National Park in the USA in just 12 days. It provides the perfect outdoor-centric adventure for active people, packed with unique experiences. Travellers can join a Red Jammer bus ride, play ice hockey with professionals, and learn the cultures and traditions from Indigenous people.

“The North American Glaciers & National Parks trip is nothing short of a jaw-dropping exploration of the USA and Canada’s Rockies,” Contiki North America trip manager, Carlen Oliveira, said. “It’s packed with incredible views and experiences that are truly authentic and unique. We know that our travellers will love this one.”

Vietnam’s ever-growing appeal has already made it a popular destination, with a Contiki seeing a 21 per cent increase in travellers. On top of their 10-day Vietnam Highlights and 27-day Ultimate Southeast Asia trips, the brand has now introduced a great-value 5-day trip that visits the world-famous Ha Giang Loop in Northern Vietnam. The trip gives travellers the chance to learn about traditional H’mong arts & crafts and trail along the Nho Que river with a local guide.

“Travelling along the Ha Giang Loop and seeing the lush landscapes of Northern Vietnam is on the bucket list for a lot of travellers who visit Southeast Asia. And now they have the chance to do it with us,” Contiki Asia project manager Megan Baiada said.

Travellers seeking a deeper appreciation of culture through a destination’s food, history, people, and customs can join the new version of Contiki’s South Korean Soul trip. It now includes four days in Jeju Island and gives travellers a cultural deep dive into South Korea, showcasing Haenyeo (fisherwomen) culture.

Asia is the new young-traveller hotspot Contiki Asia operations director Taryn Welsh said

“The success of our South Korean Soul trip proves it. That’s why we’ve decided to expand our offering in South Korea, and there’s no better choice than Jeju Island.”

In Africa, Contiki travellers can go on the Gorilla Trek in Rwanda, which is perfect for those who are interested in witnessing gorillas in their natural habitat. The brand also launched a Cape Town Explorer trip, and two new products that visit Spain, Portugal, and Morocco on a single trip.

The brand has also unveiled two new trips that give travellers the chance to go from Delhi to Kathmandu by coach and internal flights, followed by a trek with varying difficulty levels to choose from.
