Convene Q has swung its doors open to buyer registration, boasting the best of sunny Queensland.
The exhibition that showcases what’s hot up north for the business events sector has hit the ground running, set to be held on July 28 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Convene Q will have more than 80 exhibitors, educational seminars and a number of networking opportunities for its attendees, and is open to conference, meeting and incentive organisers from Sydney, Melbourne, and everywhere else in Oz.
It’s also extended its invitation to New Zealand and local buyers from Brisbane and other parts of Southeast QLD, all of whom can apply for hosted buyer status.
These buyers can also opt to take part in one of the pre-familiarisation tours being held in conjunction with Convene Q.
Event manager Allyssa Eastaugh says the strength of Convene Q lies in its highly qualified buyers, and the diverse range of QLD-based event suppliers they’ve been paired up with.
“This expo is about Queensland, so any buyer who attends will be there to do business with suppliers in the state,” she said.
“We connect highly qualified event organisers with venues, accommodation providers, speakers and entertainers, convention bureaux, caterers, audio visual and theme companies and other suppliers in the business events sector.”
Eastaugh says the success of the inaugural Convene Q has generated plenty of interest among exhibitors and potential exhibitors, with stand sales well ahead of where they were this time last year.
“As well as familiar, returning faces we have a number of first time exhibitors in 2015 so any buyers who attended last year will be able to renew existing relationships as well as make contact with new suppliers,” she added.
Those keen to register can do so right here.
