Croatia Airlines will increase its network from Zagreb with new routes to Milan Malpensa, Prague, Bucharest, Madrid, and Hamburg.
The additions primarily restore city connections that were previously served before the pandemic.
Between April and October, the airline plans to increase departures from Croatia by 27 to 33 flights per week, adding between 7,900 and 9,900 outbound seats weekly during the summer season.
Several seasonal routes will also return earlier than usual. Flights from Zagreb to Berlin and Stockholm, introduced on 20 May last year, will resume on 1 and 2 April, respectively. Meanwhile, the Zagreb–Tirana service will restart on 25 May, moving up from its previously planned relaunch on 14 June.
Other routes will see an increase in frequency to meet peak summer demand. The Split–Istanbul service will resume on 6 May with five weekly flights, up from three. Zagreb–Barcelona will expand from three to four weekly rotations, while Split–Oslo and Split–Berlin will double from one to two flights per week.
In Dubrovnik, the carrier’s route to Prague route will increase from one to two weekly services, while flights to Zurich will grow from four to five weekly rotations.
These expansions aim to strengthen connectivity and accommodate rising travel demand during the busy summer season.
The exact schedule is subject to change depending on the delivery timeline of six A220 aircraft expected to arrive over the next ten months, according to Ex-Yu Aviation.
