The loft room, where I stayed, was a sanctuary of comfort and style. Its generous proportions provided ample space to unwind, work, and just stare out at the panoramic views of Melbourne’s skyline through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The king-sized bed was fabulous and comfy, promising a restful night’s sleep. The marble-appointed bathroom was lush and a deep soaking tub and separate rainfall shower, screamed RELAX!

Dining at the Crown Metropol is a culinary adventure in itself. The hotel boasts an array of world-class restaurants to choose from. At Bistro Guillaume, the menu showcases a selection of French classics executed to perfection. The wine list at Bistro Guillaume is also extensive, featuring a wide range of French and Australian selections.

During my stay, I was attending a travel industry function and was pleased to discover there was a hairdresser on-site as well as spa and wellness facilities, which for women travelling for business, is a big tick.
Situated in the heart of Melbourne’s Southbank precinct, it’s within walking distance of major attractions like the Crown Casino, the Yarra River, and the Arts Centre Melbourne. The hotel’s proximity to public transportation makes it a perfect choice to explore the city’s many offerings from!
